Quest TruTec has organized a dedicated management team for Condition Assessment including business management, operations, engineering support and sales & marketing. The management team has the capability to build a global distributed service network with three regional offices and related satellites.  Key team members presently include:

Milton Altenberg – Chairman and CEO
Mr. Altenberg is CEO of both Quest TruTec and Quest Integrated. He is a specialist in managing rapid growth companies, with over 25 years of progressive leadership experience in technology, manufacturing, and sales-intensive environments. Throughout his career, Mr. Altenberg has successfully utilized entrepreneurial instinct and market discipline, and cultivated management teams to deliver sustainable value to customers and shareholders. Mr. Altenberg has served as the President and/or CEO of over 15 companies in a highly diverse group of industries including: energy services, petrochemical and chemical processing, plastics processing, construction products, machining services, automotive manufacturing, software, and management consulting. His experience includes business start-ups as well as mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Altenberg is best known for his technology-driven approach to redefining strategies, business models and markets (e.g., Chardonol Corporation).

Richard Roberts – Vice President & General Manager
Mr. Roberts began his career at ARCO Petroleum in 1985, where he was involved in a massive corrosion protection program for pressure vessels, tanks, well heads and transport piping. After departing ARCO in 1992, Mr. Roberts was involved with implementing specialized non-destructive examination (“NDE”) division start-ups for various engineering and service companies within North America, such as ABB/Amdata, Combustion Engineering and CTI/Tuboscope/Vetco. In 1995, Mr. Roberts was recruited by Quest Integrated to set up and establish a Field Services Division (“FSD”) which applied Quest Integrated’s proprietary NDE instrumentation, including first LOTIS™ and later FTIS™ technologies. When QUEST’s FSD and TruTec Services merged in 2004, Mr. Roberts assumed the role of Director of Condition Assessment Division. Today as Vice President of Quest TruTec, Mr. Roberts leads the Condition Assessment operations. Mr. Robert’s 21-year history in working with advanced automated NDT/E technologies, coupled with his extensive management experience, provides an optimal foundation from which to lead the next phase in Quest TruTec’s commercial development. He received his A.S. in NDE from the University of Alaska and his B.S. in Welding Technology from Ohio State University.

Robert De Lorenzo – Engineering Manager
Mr. De Lorenzo was a lead design engineer at Quest Integrated prior to the FSD merger with Tru Tec Services in 2004. At that time, he began fulfilling the role of Engineering Manager at Quest TruTec. Mr. De Lorenzo brings 14 years of experience in design, engineering and field applications in NDT/E services and product development for the aerospace, petrochemical, utility, marine, military and pulp & paper industries. Mr. De Lorenzo possesses an extensive knowledge of electrical, mechanical and software development processes and a strong working knowledge of electronic control system design, as well as practical experience in automated and manual NDT techniques, personnel management, budget development, and all aspects of design engineering from concept through engineering to manufacturing to troubleshooting. He has also guided ISO certification programs such as 9000 and 9001. In addition to managing numerous Quest instruments projects, Mr. De Lorenzo has managed projects for the National Aerospace Laboratories (Japan), Naval Research Laboratories, DoE, DoD and private industries. Mr. De Lorenzo received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Washington and an A.S. in Electronic Engineering from North Seattle Community College.

Mike Flenniken – Global Operations Manager
Mr. Flenniken spent his early years working for Dresser Atlas Wireline Services in their Corpus Christi, Texas off-shore division as a “Wireline Engineer” or “Oil Well Logger.” In 1989, he joined Tru-Tec Services as a Senior Project Engineer, performing gamma scan process diagnostics on refinery and chemical processes. Mr. Flenniken was a critical member of the launch team for Tru-Tec Services’ first regional office located in Newark, Delaware. From 1993 to 2005, he functioned as the Northeast Regional Manager for Tru-Tec Services and post-merger, for Quest TruTec’s Process Diagnostics Division. In May 2005, Mr. Flenniken assumed the position of Business Development Manager for Quest TruTec’s coker services where he was responsible for integrating all services applicable to refinery coker units. His current position (since January 2006) as Global Operations Manager for Condition Assessment includes responsibility for all domestic and international field operations. Mr. Flenniken graduated in 1980 from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, majoring in Thermal Fluids with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
